Good ole Duff! That's what my dad, David Lindemann, used to say. Duff and my dad were what I would call "friend soulmates." My dad passed away in Oct. 2005 and Duff wrote a letter about their friendship that was read at my father's service. They met at age 13 and stayed friends forever. Oh, sometimes they'd. lose touch with each other, but somehow, they always found a way of finding each other and as in Duff's letter he wrote..."We were together again!" Well, they are together again. They will always be together. My dad loved Duff and always talked about what a good man and friend Duff is. Duff said in his letter that "David & I loved each other as much as to men could without being gay." Thank you Duffers for bringing such joy and friendship into my father's life. I knew and loved you too.. and I always will. Heaven received a special soul on the 11th, now "together again" with his bud. Sally, I remember when you and Duff came to visit us in Calif. and how much I enjoyed your company. I especially loved when Duff would drive the mo-ped! Please know we are thinking of you in Calif. and care about you deeply. MUCH LOVE,
