Obituary of Mary Ann Kirchheimer

Mary Ann Kirchheimer Mary Ann Kirchheimer, 55, of Vestal, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Louis Kirchheimer. She is survived by her husband, Allan of Vestal; her son, Daniel and his wife Heather and their son William Kirchheimer of Vestal; her son, Kevin Kirchheimer and his fiancée Katelyn Schmidt of Binghamton; parents, William and Ann Laibe of Vestal; her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Debi Laibe of New Smyrna Beach, FL; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Cheryl Laibe of Vestal; mother-in-law, Margrit Kirchheimer of Vestal; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steven and Sharon Kirchheimer of Hanover Park, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Ann enjoyed cooking, playing the piano, gardening, reading, playing Bunco and trivia. She was an avid Yankee fan. She enjoyed vacationing on the beach with her family. The family wishes to thank the staff of Lourdes Hospice, especially Teresa, Linda, and Amy for their great care of Mary Ann. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. John Goodell will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until service time to 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Brain Tumor Assn., 2720 River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60018, or to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
