Thomas Barrett Brown, 84, passed away peacefully Wed. Dec. 22, at Ideal Senior Living Center. Warm-hearted and eternally cheerful, Tom loved carpentry, golf, traveling and painting things in his signature "Tom Brown blue" paint. Tom joined the Navy at 17 and served during WWII. He worked for the Town of Union more than 20 years and retired as Highway Superintendent. Predeceased by his wife Wanda Mikucky Brown, Tom is survived by Peter, Tracy, Alexandra and Victoria Bohush of Los Angeles CA; Cully, Janice and Ariston Bohush of Tampa Fla.; Barbara Pitcher, Bonnie and Gary Holmes of Endwell; Bryan "Chet" Deering of Endicott; and many other family and friends. Tom is a past commander of American Legion Post 1700 in West Endicott. The family will receive visitors from 10 am to noon on Mon. Dec. 27 at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The funeral service will be conducted at noon, followed by burial at Riverhurst Cemetery in Endwell.
