Obituary of Jacqueline Pilkington

Jacqueline "Jackie" Pilkington Jacqueline ("Jackie") Pilkington, 71, of Vestal, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 26, 2010, after a lengthy illness with her sons Bill and Matt at her side. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Fowler; and her former husband, Richard Pilkington. She is survived by her mother, Laura Fowler of Vestal; her sons, James of Santa Cruz, CA, William of Knoxville, TN, Matthew and Thomas, both of Vestal, NY; her brother, Gary Fowler and his daughters of Vestal; her brother, David Fowler and his family; grandchildren, Adam and Zachary; her Aunt Esther Joyce of Binghamton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who kindly referred to her as Aunt Dutty or Dut Dut. Jackie was retired from Universal Instruments after many years of service. She loved to spend as much time as possible with family in Lordville, NY at the Kilgore House, where she fixed wonderful meals and read by the fire. Jackie had a large circle of friends and also enjoyed spending time at the Redman's Club in Vestal Center. A funeral service for Jackie will be held on Wednesday, December 29, at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. There will be a private burial service at the family cemetery in Lordville, NY.
