Obituary of Hazel Hover

Hazel (Caseman) Hover Hazel (Caseman) Hover, 83, of Apalachin, died on January 18 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton. She was born October 16, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Caseman and the wife of Merle E. Hover for 35 years. She was also predeceased by a sister, Clara; daughter, Peggy Lamoree; and one dear friend of 17 years, Edward Kesten. She is survived by a sister, Paula Payne; three daughters, Rose Thorne, Dee Hover, Dawn Hover; and son-in-law, Tim Lamoree. She has many grandchildren who called her "Grandma Candy". She worked at Endicott-Johnson in Endicott, Weldon's Pajama Factory in Williamsport, PA and Magentic Lab in Apalachin. She enjoyed life and had nothing but praise for Taylor Garbage Service. She loved animals, especially for kitty "Tonya". The Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Union Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Brown Naik will officiate. The family will receive friends 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the church. Contribution may be made in Hazel's memory to the Apalachin Fire Dept., 230 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, NY 13732.
