Obituary of Audrey A Costley

Audrey A. Costley On January 20, 2011 our beloved mother, Audrey A. Costley, 82, left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior. Audrey was a member of South New Milford Baptist Church in New Milford, PA since 2001. She ran the email prayer chain every day and did it with great love, as she did most everything. She had previously belonged to First Baptist in Johnson City New York and First Baptist of Vestal New York. She would go to her monthly Denny's Breakfast" on the Vestal Parkway to keep close contact with her friends from the triple cities. She loved singing, loved to be in the choir and gave of herself in whatever way she could. She is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Edna Anderson of Vestal, NY and her loving husband of 49 years, Lloyd H. Costley. She is survived by her eldest son, Steve Costley, his wife Billie Sue, and their children Rebekah, Aaron, Abby, Lydia and Julia, of Montrose, PA; son Tim Costley, his wife Lori and their children Mandy and Tyler, of Pelham AL; daughter Karla Aylesworth and her husband Andy, who provided a loving home for Audrey in Kingsley PA from the time Lloyd went home to be with his savior in 2001; Eden & Joanna Costley, of Glen Aubrey, NY, Doris Costley of Vestal, NY, LaRue and Phllis Costley of Concord, NC, Paul and Esther Weimer of Anchorage, Alaska, 7 nephews and 2 nieces. She is also survived by a dear friend, Audrey Neild, who spent most every day with Audrey, reading the bible and praying with her and was such a blessing to the family. There were so many friends that surrounded her at the end. Thank you all for loving her. A memorial service will be held at South New Milford Baptist Church, Harford Rd, New Milford, PA on Saturday 1/29/11 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Lebanon County, PA Monday January 31, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Family will receive friends at the Church Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. From your children: Mom, we will miss the sound of your always-present laughter. We love you more than words can say. You are with your savior now! In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Assn. P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220 or to the American Lung Assn. National Headquarters 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, NW Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
