Obituary of Helen F. Kohler

Helen F. Kohler Owego: Helen F. Kohler 88, of Owego, passed away on February 10, 2011 at Lourdes Hospital after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard in 2008; her parents, John and Viva Anderson; her sister, Marguerite Avery and her brother, Louis Anderson. She was born on August 23, 1922 in Tunkhannock, PA. She is survived by three daughters and their families, Joan and John Redolphy, Joyce and Jim Atherholt and Mari and Pete Hidock all of Endicott; two sons, Mike and Kathy and their children, Mike and Patricia of Geneva, NY, Bernie and Cindi Kohler and their children, Alainey and Abby of Fort Meyers, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom enjoyed crocheting, tatting, crafts, baking and more recently having lunch, going shopping and an occasional trip to Tioga Downs as well as having breakfast with her friends at McDonalds. She loved the outdoors and going for walks and she never lost her sense of humor. Friends and family may pay their respects at 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 13 until the time of service at 1:30 at the Flemingville United Methodist Church, 650 West Creek Road, Owego. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Flemingville United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
