Obituary of Marie Alta Birchard

Marie Birchard Of Vestal Marie Alta Birchad, age 75, of Vestal, NY went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 11th, 2011 at the Vestal Nursing Center surrounded by her loving family. Marie was predeceased by her sister, Betty Demure. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter Birchard; her four children, Mark and Debbie Birchard of Apalachin, NY; Terri Birchard of Endwell, NY; Denise and John Dribnak of Vestal, NY; Brian Birchard and Kristen of Endwell, NY; grandchildren: Shawn (Patty) Birchard, Todd (Karen) Birchard, Casandra (Kevin) Colburn, Shannon (Eric) Lotz, Colleen (Kenny) Rosser, Jessica Dribnak (Brian), and Megan; along with 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by niece, Linda Stanic and nephew, Wayne Seaver. Marie loved camping and traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. She retired from Our Lady of Sorrows School, after ten years of serving and touching the lives of many children who attended. A Memorial Service for Marie will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Josh Nichols, Union Center Christian Church, will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and also from 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
