Obituary of David C Lambert

David Lambert Endicott: David Lambert, 77, died peacefully at his home on February 28, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, Erving and Mary Lambert; and his son, Donnie. He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty; loving daughter, Laurie (Paul) Newton; loving niece, Debbie (Brian) Harmon; brother, Jack; nephews, Scott (Kathy) Lambert and Todd (Mary Bridgett) Lambert; nephews, Dave, Dan (Laurie) and Duane (Pam) Kendrick; grandchildren, Erica, Bill and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Dutch and Cameron; and several great-nephews and great-nieces; along with his faithful companion, Benji. Dave was a carpenter for Local 281 and eventually elected as business agent before retiring in March 1997. He was involved in local politics, Village of Endicott Zoning Board and the New York National Guard for several years. Dave loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed traveling to Alaska, Canada, Colorado and New Mexico with his buddies. We would like to thank the nursing staff, Carol, Ann, JoAnn, Mary, Denise and Margie, who helped the family care for Dave in his home for the last 1 1/2 years. Dave also leaves behind many good friends, including Dave Haines, Mike Mott, Ted Warner and Herb Kline. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E.
