Obituary of Mildred F Denton

Mildred Frances Denton Maine, NY: Mildred Frances Denton, 86 years old, passed away on April 5, 2011 at Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home in Binghamton, N.Y. Mildred was born in Maine, N.Y. and resided there for most of her life. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ray McClellan Denton; her parents, Stephen and Magdalena Kupkovich; her sisters, Grace Derick, and Helen Kupkovich; and her brothers, Joseph, Stephen, Frank and John Kupkovich. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Chodun and her husband Sid of Endicott, N. Y.; her daughter, Sandra Sage and her husband Robert of Austin, TX.; and her son Ray Denton of New York, N.Y. She is also survived by granddaughters Tammy Wanck, Kim Tanzini, Lisa Gehman, Simone Traverse and Stacey McGraw, a grandson, Zachary Sage and great grandchildren Tony, Jessica, Laikyn, Sara, Ethan, Hannah, Jacob, Maxwell and Zachary. Mildred was a kind and gracious soul as well as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose greatest pleasure in life was found in enjoying the company of her beloved family. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to extend our thanks to the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home, St. Louise Manor, and Lourdes Hospital for the all the attention, comfort and compassion they provided Mildred during the time she resided there. Funeral Services will be held at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main Street, Endicott, N.Y. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 12:00 p.m., with calling hours that morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
