Obituary of Dorothy Elwood

Dorothy Elwood Endicott: Dorothy Elwood, 94, of Ideal Senior Living Center, Endicott passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011, with her loving family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Elwood; and a sister, Elsie Wylie. She is survived by her daughters, Beverly and Charles Robbins, Binghamton, Barbara and Richard Hunsinger, Vestal, Linda and Vernon Buck, Salisbury, NC; a son, Arthur and Nancy Elwood, Endicott; her grandchildren, Charles and Brian Robbins, Kevin (Donna) Robbins, Jacqueline (Steve) Manning, Deborah Zeaman, Kris (Penny) Buck, Cindy (Todd) Hamilton, Karin (Jimmy) Allmond, Curtis Buck, Dallas Elwood; and 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a Senior Companion for ten years at the Broome Developmental Center. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Lily Court at Ideal for their wonderful care of Dorothy over the years and also to Ed for his compassion. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. from the All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main St., Johnson City. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
