Obituary of Margaret Woytowich

Margaret A. (Mariani) Woytowich of Endwell Margaret A. (Mariani) Woytowich, 95, of Endwell, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 27, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital following a brief illness. Margaret was predeceased by her husbands, George Mariani and John Woytowich; her daughter-in-law, Holly Mariani; sisters, Helen Perella and Elizabeth Buman. She is survived by her son, James Mariani, Apalachin; a step-son and his wife, John and Roz Woytowich, Ocala, Fla.; a granddaughter, Angela Gittings and her husband Daniel; great-grandchildren, James and Jillian Gittings; grandson, Nicolas Mariani, Las Vegas, Nev.; and all her Perella nieces and nephews, James Perella, Peggy Loomis, Linda Mohr, Gerald Perella and Richard Perella, and their children. Margaret's extended family includes James and Dawn Bigney, sons Kyle and Matt, Robyn and Scott Callaway, children Alexy and McCade. Margaret resided for many years at Marion Apartments in Endwell. She was well-known by all as the "Doll Lady" for the many hand-made dolls she loved to make in her retirement years. The dolls gave joy to the many children that adopted them. Margaret also enjoyed the time she spent as a foster grandparent, and the children she was grandma to, at Homer Brink School in Endwell. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Holy Family, 3600 Phyllis St., Endwell, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Vestal. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott.
