Obituary of Susan A Allen

Susan Allen Susan A. Allen, 80 ,of Little Meadows PA, passed away peacefully Thursday evening, May 12, 2011, at the Sayre House, Sayre PA. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Allen, in 2005. She is survived by her 3 children and spouses, Cinda and Gerald Day of Apalachin, Cheryl and Patrick McCauley of Johnson City, Terry and Ann Allen of Binghamton; 7 grandchildren, Bryan Day, Jennifer and Jason Yeager, Susan and Erin McCauley, Stephanie, Julia, and Kristen Allen; 2 great-grandchildren, Adria and Charlie; also other family members too numerous to mention; her good friend Libby. She was a member of the Little Meadows United Methodist Church, and an active member of the United Methodist women, an active member of the Little Meadows Community, including a member of the Volunteer Fireman's Lady Auxillary and a former girl scout leader, and the Home Bureau. She enjoyed camping, crocheting and especially her family. The family would like to thank Dr.Choi and the staff at Sayre House for their love and concern for Susan. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11AM from the Little Meadows United Methodist Church. The Rev Mary Jean Simonin, Pastor of Susan's Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc. St Rt 434, Apalachin, Monday from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Little Meadows United Methodist Church.
