Obituary of Marilyn Jean Russell
Marilyn J. Russell (Mary) of Little Meadows Marilyn J. Russell (Mary), 73, of Little Meadows, passed away peacefully Friday, December 5, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Russell; and grandson, Jeremy B. Russell; her parents, Benton and Hazel Hall; a brother, Richard Hall; and sisters, Laura and Elise. She is survived by her loving family who will miss her deeply: daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Fred Pitcher, with whom she made her home the last 15 years; sons and daughters-in-law, Buck and Janice Russell, William G. and Kiwha Russell, Buddy Russell and Cathy Allis; grandchildren, Chris Pitcher and Robbi Ferschman, Tracy Pitcher and Robert Klein, William R. Russell, Kimberly Russel, Zac Russell and Erin Taylor, Destiny Russell and David DePue; great-grandsons, Colin Russell and Jacob Joshua and Journey DePue; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Harrington, Nina and Richard Briggers, Pat White, Sandy and Robert Thompson, Nancy and Richard Lynch, Linda Russell, James and Pat Russell, Jack and Glenda Russell; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Jean Traver, Linda Breflle, Eddie Giglio; a very special niece, Sallie Lynch, who helped as a care-giver. The family would like to express a special thanks to all the staff at Wilson Memorial Hospital for the care, compassion and love they shared with our mom and our family, also the very special staff at Binghamton General Dialysis Unit without whom we would not have had the past three-and-a-half years. A very special thank you to our nurse and friend, Peg Langdon. The Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin. The Rev. Mary Jean Simonin, Pastor of the Little Meadows United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Warren Center Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Those wishing may make contributions to the Dialysis Unit of United Health Services, the Little Meadows Rescue Squad, the Little Meadows Fire Company, or the Little Meadows United Methodist Church, all of Little Meadows, Pa. 18830.
