Obituary of Bert S. Palmer

Bert S. Palmerof Winter Garden, Fla.and formerly of VestalBert S. Palmer, 91, of Winter Garden, Fla., passed away on December 6, 2008. Mr. Palmer was born in Johnson City, New York on August 1, 1917. He was a dairy farmer and was retired from the Vestal Central School District. He was a member of the Grange in Vestal and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He attended First United Methodist Church of Winter Garden, Fla. and the Boulevard United Methodist Church in Vestal. Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his wife, Doris C. Palmer. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon L. Palmer, Orlando, Fla.; and a niece, Thelma Warren Nineveh, N.Y. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Vestal Hills Memorial Park, Old Vestal Road, Vestal. Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Church St. Station, P.O. Box 780, New York, N.Y. 10008-0780. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, N.Y.
