Obituary of Louis B. Taylor

Louis B. "Lou" Taylor (1951 - 2011) Apalachin: Louis B. Taylor, 60, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born January 4, 1951, he is predeceased by his wife of 34 years, Marion (Mimi) Howard Taylor, parents, Francis and Pauline Taylor, LeRaysville, PA, brother, Dale Taylor, niece, Michelle Harvey, infant Nephew, William Taylor. Louis is survived by his three sons, Jeffrey Taylor, Endicott, Christopher (Emily Piza) Taylor, Binghamton, and Sean Taylor, Apalachin, four grandchildren, Justin, Zackery, Cassidy and Kaylin & brother, Burton (Patricia) Taylor, Reading, PA, sisters, Ruthann (Francis) Kolosky, Binghamton, Peggy Bessey, Great Bend, PA, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. After attending Northeast Bradford High School, Rome, PA, he was privileged to have a successful 35-year career at Lockheed Martin earning numerous patent awards. Lou loved his Harley and enjoyed many road trips with his wife Mimi along in the side car. Louis had unconditional love for his family. Despite his illness and the hardship it brought to him, he remained a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather, wonderful brother and good friend. He found his greatest joy in his four beloved grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10 am from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with the Rev. Susan E. Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
