Obituary of Winifred Bond

Winifred F. Bond Endicott: Winifred F. Bond, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at Susquehanna Nursing Facility in Johnson City, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Bessie French. She is survived be her husband of 50 years, Richard, Endicott and two daughters, Sheila (Jay) Goodrich, Endicott, and Dorine (Chuck) Pecka, Binghamton; two granddaughters, Blair Pecka, New York City and Lauren Pecka, Binghamton. Winnie was a nurse for 36 years at the Binghamton Psychiatric Center. Winnie enjoyed her crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting and was her granddaughter's number one fan at swim meets. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at the Susquehanna Nursing Facility for their care and compassion in our mother's last weeks. Funeral services for Winnie will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2 pm from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 pm until the time of service.
