Obituary of Gordon Benninger

Gordon E. Benninger Endicott: Gordon E. Benninger, age 84, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Elizabeth, in 2007. He was also predeceased by a great- grandchild, Chase Matthew Forinash. He is survived by all of his children; Diane (Larry) Thornton, Robert (Carol) Benninger, Nancy Benninger, John (Sally) Benninger, Gordon J. (Sandra) Benninger, Cheryl Benninger, Mary (Randy) Tingley and Barbara (Warren) Marks. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews also survive him. There will be no calling hours and funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Volunteer Emergency Squad, 8 S. Avenue B, Endwell, NY 13760. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
