Obituary of Diane Louise Thorne

Diane Thorne Little Meadows: Diane Louise Thorne, went to be in the arms of the Lord on December 16, 2011 after a short illness. She was predeceased by her father, Wendell "Bud" Smith. She is survived by her husband, Craig Thorne of Little Meadows; daughter, Jamie Lynn Williams of Binghamton and a son, Nathan and Jenelee Williams of Little Meadows; her mother, Shirley Smith of Vestal, NY; brothers, Michael Smith of Endicott and Stephen Smith of Montrose, PA and four sisters; Sherri Clark of Newark Valley, Lori Smith of Vestal, Susan Hennessy of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tammy Zackor of Vestal; granddaughters, Hailey, Madison, Skylar, Angelina, Brittany, Lorelai and a grandson, Ty Andrew. She is also survived by in-laws, Rose and Gerald Thorne of Brackney, PA. She was an employee of Big Lots in Vestal and Binghamton. She was an accomplished doll maker and collector. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Nana) and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral Services for Diane will be held on Monday, December 19th , at 12:00 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., in Vestal. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Sunday and 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
