Obituary of Florence Day

Florence A. "Peg" Day Vestal Center: Florence "Peg" A. Day, 93, of Vestal Center, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husbands, Earl R. Dykeman and Clayton H. Day. She is survived by her children, Donna (Reid) Swindler, Gary (Dottie) Dykeman, Marsha (Bob) Lesko, Linda (Steve) Cameron and Lori (Larry) Roma; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin (Lois) Howard; and a sister, Margaret (Fred) Dupre. Peg was a lifelong member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church. Memorial Services for Florence will be held on Monday, January 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with the Rev. Jane Bensley officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive their friends on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
