Obituary of David C Mattison

David Mattison Maine: David Charles Mattison, 49, of Maine died after a short illnesss Wednesday, February 15,2012 at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles and Margaret Mattison, Gordon and Ethel Puls. He is survived by JoAnne Denton the love of his life and best friend, her Daughter Ashley Denton, and granddaughter Isla Denton. His parents, Barbara and Jerry Mattison; sisters and brother-in-law, Sherry Mattison, and Lisa and Ed Calkin; also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. David was a kind and loving person who loved life. He graduated from Maine-Endwell High School in 1980. He worked as a carpenter for Paul Rounds for 10 years. David was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved the outdoors. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 East Main St, Endicott, Saturday from 11AM until 1PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Broome-Tioga BOCES, 435 Glenwood Rd, Binghamton, NY 13905 for futher studies in the carpentry program
