Obituary of Elsie G. Kunkle

Elsie G. Kunkle Vestal: Elsie G. Kunkle, 95, of Vestal Center, NY, entered the gates of Heaven on Feb. 26, 2012 in Moravia, NY. Elsie was predeceased by her husband, Alfred A. Kunkle; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Joyce Kunkle, Alfred Jr. and Josephine Kunkle; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Alvin Miller; grandson Frederick A. Greeno; three sisters and two brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Shirley (Fred) Greeno of Moravia, NY, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren. Elsie was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in Vestal Center and Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church of Vestal. She was a charter member of Vestal Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary Company #2. The family will receive friends from 11 AM - 12 PM on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Donations can be made in Elsie's name to Vestal Fire Station Company #2 or the Women's Auxiliary, 2513 St. Rt. 26 South, Vestal, NY, 13850.
