Obituary of Dale A. Waltz

Dale A. Waltz Endicott: Dale A. Waltz, 71, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord after a valiant battle with cancer on March 16, 2012 at home in the company of his loving wife. He proudly served our country in Vietnam as a member of the United State Marine Corps. On February 20, 1970 he married Joanne Margaret Bunker. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne; 7 children, Patrick (Song) Conway, Kathy (Bruce) Piccianno, Kevin (Cindy) Conway, Shawn (Cindi) Conway, Colleen (Mike) Kenney, Michael (Laura) Conway and Lori (Leo) Gagnon; and 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. His family brought him immense pride and joy. He was known for his quick wit and was always "almost perfect". The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Harris and the staff at Broome Oncology as well as the nurses at the UHS Infusion Center for their compassionate care. A celebration of life will be held on March 21, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Nativity, 312-314 East Main Street, Endicott, NY 13760. The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m. preceding the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Nativity. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
