Obituary of Robert P. Tassey

Robert P. Tassey On January 25, 2012 Bob Tassey of Apalachin passed away at Elizabeth Church Manor of Binghamton. He was predeceased by his parents, Edith and Frank and his brothers George and Edward. He is survived by his wife Joan, a son Robert (Eleanor) Tassey and his grandchildren Madison and Samantha. Also surviving is his sister-in-law, Marie as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was a graduate of Owego Free Academy and the IBM Tool/Modelmaker's Course. He then went on to earn his Private Pilot's license. After retirement from IBM Endicott he achieved the status of Shopsmith Master Woodworker. A Memorial Mass for Bob will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 am from St. James Catholic Church, 155 Main St. Johnson City with the Rev. Christopher Ballard officiating. The family will receive their friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home 300 E. Main St. Endicott.
