Obituary of Doris Sackett

Sackett, Doris (Cranmer) Doris (Cranmer) Sackett, 90, of Apalachin, died peacefully at her home Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Sackett; and her parents, Harold and Meryl Cranmer; brothers, Harold Jr. and Donald; a sister, June Malia. She is survived by her 4 sons, Samuel, Lawrence (Cheryl), James (Jean), and William; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed spending time with her 130 lb. dog Roxy and doing her crossword puzzles. At her request, there will be no services. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Apalachin Volunteer Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 572, Apalachin, NY 13732. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., Apalachin.
