Obituary of Katherine A. Estes

Katherine Arlene Hoag Estes Endicott: Our dear and loving mother, Katherine Arlene Hoag Estes, went home to be with her Lord on September 30, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Her husband, Rev. Ernest Estes, predeceased her on July 31, 1985. She is survived by her four children: Deborah (Rev. G. Victor) Perry, Sharon (Carl) Eldridge, Daniel (Carol) Estes and Stephen (Phyllis) Estes; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Seymour (Ellen) Hoag and David (Jean) Hoag; four sisters, Althea (Tom) Williams, Kathleen Saliby, Marilyn (Ronald) DeVita, and Carol Lyons. Katherine was predeceased also by her sisters, Lorraine Brown and Phyllis Hoag; and her brother, Harrison Hoag; two grandsons, Chad and Charles Eldridge and granddaughter, Tammy Eldridge. Katherine was a faithful member of the West Endicott Baptist Church. She served many years as a faithful Baptist pastor's wife in Girardville, PA, Hawley, PA, Phoencia, NY, Cambridge, ME, and Borden, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Endicott Baptist Church, Birdsall at Mills Ave, Endicott, NY 13760. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the West Endicott Baptist Church, 515 West Wendell St, Endicott. Burial will be in Glen Aubrey Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Inc, Endicott.
