Obituary of Mary L Wright

Mary Lieuzetta Wright of Apalachin The family of Mary Lieuzetta Switzer Wright would like to celebrate her final journey home on January 4, 2009 to be with her Lord and Savior and beloved husband Warren, who predeceased her on July 4th, 1984. She is remembered for her servant's heart and musical gifts. She was born February 8, 1923 at home in the Town of Ovid, near Interlaken, N.Y., and was married October 3, 1940 at home. They had three children and were called into the ministry and moved back to Lieuzetta's family home, where she supported the family while Warren attended seminary. After being established in ministry, they had three more children. Their Christian heritage played a strong role in many of their family serving in the ministry. She was happiest when visiting someone she loved and traveled whenever possible. Lieuzetta is survived by two sons, four daughters and their spouses, Clifford Wright, Wanda and Bob Ingraham, Evelyn and James Ellerson, Joyce and Rev. Neil Morgan, Tim and Judy Wright and Bernita and Ronald Brassard; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; her sister, Melva Robinson; brother, James Switzer; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Alma Switzer; her sister-in-law, Reta Switzer; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her and knew her as Aunt Zip. Her children would like to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home for giving their mother loving care during the years she lived there. A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church, Whitney Point Route 11, Whitney Point, N.Y. at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 10, 2009. In lieu of flowers, please make donations "In Memory of Grandma Wright" for her granddaughter, Lesa Morgan, serving as a missionary in Thailand at www.morgan.abwe.org or to ABWE, PO Box 8585, Harrisburg, Pa. 17105-8585.
