Robert E. Dvorsky
Robert E. Dvorsky, 85, of Vestal passed away at his home on Thursday, November 15, 2012. He was predeceased by his parents Mark and Mary Dvorsky and an infant daughter Deborah. He is survived by his wife Constance (Knapik) Dvorsky a brother Fran (Betty) Dvorsky, his children Tanya Tiberi and Patrick Burke, Johnson City, Benita (Barry) Lovingood, Vancouver, WA, Sandra (Eric) Baltz, Denver, CO, Daniel (Prudence) Dvorsky, Port Dickinson, his grandchildren, Alex Tiberi, Eric and Clay Lovingood, Olivia and Claudia Stone and John Baltz, Heather, Josh and Ben Dvorsky, Great Grandchildren, Emma and Daniel Smey and Lily Dvorsky. Robert was a Veteran of both WWII and the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Owego VFW Post 1371. He retired from ANSCO, GAF and International Paper and was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. He enjoyed furniture making both full size and miniatures, motor scootering and he loved new cars.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Robert on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 10:00 am from Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 157 Clark St. Vestal with the Rev. John Kurgan officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Slovak Catholic Cemetery, Binghamton. The family will receive their friends on Monday from 5 to 7 pm at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. Endicott. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. The family wishes to thank all of the Dialysis workers at both the Binghamton and Vestal locations for their fine care of Robert.
