Obituary of Patricia (Patti) B. Livermore

Patricia (Patti) B. Livermore Of Vestal Patricia (Patti) B. Livermore, 55, passed away on Sunday evening, January 4, 2009 at her home in Vestal, after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Patti was born September 12, 1953 in El Paso, Texas to William F. Wickers, Sr. and the late Patricia A. Wickers. After graduating from the State University of New York at Albany in 1975, Patti married her devoted husband of 32 years, Grant Livermore in 1976. Patti taught Mathematics at Broome Community College since 1981. Surviving with her husband are her loving sons, Michael, Paul and Neil. Her fourth son, Glenn, died in 1983. Also surviving are her father, William F. Wickers, Sr.; two sisters, Constance Hartman and Margaret Wickers; and her brother, William F. Wickers, Jr.; as well as a large extended family. Patti was deeply devoted to her family and close to many dear friends. Her bravery and bright personality continues to inspire us. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2009, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 157 Clark Street, Vestal, NY. The family will receive friends afterwards at their home, 317 Costley Rd., Vestal, NY. The family wishes to thank the medical team for their dedication to Patti's health and comfort. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.
