Obituary of Aloysius N. Foster

Aloysius N. Foster Endicott: Aloysius N. Foster (Nick) of Endicott, NY passed on Friday, November 23, 2012 unexpectedly. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary; his children, Ronald and Jill Foster, Johnson City, David and Elizabeth Foster, North Carolina; Stepson, Terry and Barbara Walters, California; grandchildren, Nicole and Daron Biechele (great grand daughter Noelle), Ryan and Elizabeth Foster (Jacob, Sydney, Megan) NC, Stuart and Shawna Foster, Endwell; special nieces and nephews, Carol and Seb Monticello, Cheryl Andrews, William and Fran Hill; sisters, Anna Mae Hill, Elizabeth Rigo and especially Martha Palmisano, Alabama. Nick was a WWII Navy veteran serving on the USS Topeka receiving the Victory, Asiatic-Pacific, and American Theater Medals. He served July 1944 through June 1946. He retired from IBM as a computer programmer after 25 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 82 Endicott, an avid bowler, hunter, fisherman and loved to travel. The family would like to thank the staff and Nurses at ICU and N. Tower 4 of Wilson Memorial Hospital for the quality of care they provided Nick. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be said at St. Pauls Episcopal Church at the families request. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
