Obituary of Marilyn J. Barber

Marilyn (Jones) Barber Beloved mother and grandmother, Marilyn (Jones) Barber passed into the presence of her Lord on December 14, 2012. She loved her God, family and all God sent into her path. After graduation from Practical Bible Training School in 1974, Marilyn served for many years with her husband in church ministry. She taught briefly at Tioga Center Christian School. She was an active volunteer at blood drives for the American Red Cross. Marilyn is predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard, and is survived by her children, Loretta Grier, Russell (Cheryl) Barber, Lynette (Kevin) Smith, Heather Lee, Matthew (Christie) Barber, and grandchildren, Rebekah, Adam, Aaron (Monica), Amanda, Benjamin (Sarah), Brant, Michell, Cristan, Stephany (Derek), Tiffany (Michael), Bethany and Melany, Brittney (Marcos), David, and Christopher, and 11 great-granchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Barrett and Linda Jones and family and faithful friend, Dolores Felicetti. The family would like to express thanks to Hospice for their loving care. Marilyn's family invites family and friends to visit them at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc. on Rt. 434 in Apalachin on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM.
