Obituary of Edward W Menhennett
Edward W. Menhennett, Jr. Edward W. Menhennett, Jr., 56, of Endicott passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Maude Menhennett; his maternal grandparents, William and Leitha Grimes; his father-in-law, Robert Patterson and his beloved aunt Noryne Gavender. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Tracy (Patterson) Menhennett; his children, Eddie Menhennett III, Andy Menhennett, Ryan Menhennett, Caitlin Collins and Brianna Caprari; his grandchild, Sidney Menhennett; his parents, Edward and Leitha-Gail Menhennett; two sisters and a brother, Debra (Menhennett) Jones, Lisa (David) Butler and Reeves (Karen) Menhennett; mother-in law, Theresa Patterson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Paige Patterson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Tom Cassin; many neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. He was employed by Weis Markets as a meat cutter. He was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. The family would like to thank the CCU staff at Wilson Memorial Region Medical Center especially nurses Erin and Matt for their loving care.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main Street, Endicott. The Rev. Mark Marino, pastor of the Central United Methodist Church of Endicott will officiate. Entombment will be in Riverhurst Cemetery Endwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of one's choice.
