Obituary of Daniel Vymislicky

Daniel M. Vymislicky Endicott: Daniel M. Vymislicky, 61, of Endicott, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Mary Vymislicky; brother, Thomas; sister, Johanne Briggs; brother-in-law, Bill Haggerty; sister-in-law, Mary Haggerty; and best friend, Rabbit. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Marlene Vymislicky; his children, Dan Jr. (Bridgette) Vymislicky, Joe (Tina) Vymislicky and Tom (Dorrie) Vymislicky, 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; brothers, Dave and Ron Vymislicky; sister, Christine (Larry) Barton; in-laws, Edward Haggerty, Edith Thornton and Denise Broughton; many dear friends and relatives. He devoted many years to the children he transported through Serafini Transportation. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Broome Oncology staff and dear friend Butch Roberts for helping him through the past year. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott with Pastor David Cook officiating. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery. The family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those wishing may make donations in his memory to the West Corners Baptist Church, 302 Duke St., Endicott, NY.
