Obituary of Richard Silvernail

Richard O. Silvernail Apache Junction, AZ: Richard O. Silvernail, 83, of Apache Junction, AZ and formerly of Newark Valley, NY left his earthly loved ones on March 2nd, 2013. Richard looked forward to joining his love ones who predeceased him to the loving arms of Jesus: his son, Rusty; infant daughter, Judy; parents, Glenn (Art) and Margaret Silvernail; and 3 brothers, John, Chuck (Ken), and Leon. Surviving him is his loving wife and partner of 66 years, Bernice; his daughters, Margaret "Peg" (George) Barber, Sharon (Robert) Waterman, Flora (Gene) Coolbaugh, Debra Breese, and Penny (Robert) Zimmer. He took great pride in his children, 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and was looking forward to the addition of another blessing due in September. He is also survived by a brother, Don Silvernail; in-laws, Iris and Ralph Severcool, Margy Wark, Jeanette Wark and Diane Trotter-Silvernail; and several nieces and nephews. He loved spending time with family, and one of his special places was the "pond" where he loved to sit for hours fishing with his special fishing buddies and enjoying life. At the request of the family, there will be no open viewing or funeral services. There will be a Memorial Service for family and close friends Wednesday, March 6th, at 1 p.m. at Endwell Christian Union Church, corner of Hooper and Smith, Endwell, NY. Arrangements are with the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Endicott.
