Obituary of Rose Huffcut
Rose M. Huffcut Rose M. Huffcut went to join the Lord and her Husband on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Rose was the last surviving child of her immigrant parents, Constantine and Martha Haddad. She was born in Connecticut, raised in Binghamton and graduated from Binghamton High School. She was predeceased by her sisters Sadie Freije, Nettie Walsoe, Nora Miller, Marguerite Haddad, Helen Anderson and Ann Chetko and her brother James Haddad and three others who passed at childbirth. Rose was also predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years, R. Boyd Huffcut. She is survived by her son Douglas, son Jeffrey (Susan) and granddaughter Amanda (Glenn) Jung and great grandchildren Carter Jung, Kendall Jung and Colin Boyd Jung. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Rose was a retired employee of the Town of Union and a nearly life long member of Central United Methodist Church. She loved playing bridge with her friends, sharing her faith with her "Central" friends and spending time with family and her sons' friends. Her family wishes to thank the staff at United Methodist Homes Hilltop Campus for their wonderful care. She cared deeply for all of you.
Funeral and Interment Services will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main Street, Endicott. The Rev. Mark Marino, Pastor of her church will officiate. Burial will be at Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Saturday, 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech Street, Johnson City NY 13790.
