Obituary of John P Scalone

John P. Scalone (TV John) Endicott: John P. Scalone, 79, passed away with his loving wife, Sara (Sally), by his side on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his home. Besides being survived by his wife, Sally, he is also survived by his children, Dr. Marianne Soden of Endicott, Christopher (Karen) Scalone of Fredonia, WI, John Herceg of Independence, MO, Julie (Mark) Wallisky, Horseheads, Susan Russo of Kissimmee, FL, and Kate (Joseph) Ludvigson of Ruskin, FL; grandchildren, Justin, Serjanej, Mari Scalone, Tim, Rachel, and Christopher Wallisky, Mary and Holly Ludvigson; his former wife, Irene Scalone; also his special friend, Alex Lu. The family wishes a special thank you to Drs. Jayaramian and Martinez and the nephrology staff at UHS. Also a thank you to Dr. Joan Adler and staff for their unyielding care, especially in John's final months. He was owner of TV John's in Endwell for more than 40 years and was a veteran of the Korean conflict serving in the US Air Force. A memorial service and military honors will be held on Monday at 6 p.m. from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 5 p.m. until service time at 6. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to John's family in his memory.
