Obituary of Mabel T Guth

Mabel T. Guth Mabel T. Guth, 84, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2013. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 56 years, Frederick L. Guth Sr. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Joanne and Mark Miller and a son Frederick L.Guth, Jr., all of Vestal; four grandchildren Sarah Miller, Lauryn (Guth) Laborde and her husband Jeff Laborde, and Alaine (Prignon) Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law Joseph Jr. and Charlotte Tinklepaugh; Edward and Joyce Tinklepaugh; and John and Carole Tinklepaugh; also several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph Sr. and Pearl Tinklepaugh, and her grandson, Jeffrey Miller. Mabel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who adored her family. She had a servant's heart and was always reaching out to friends, loved ones, and those who crossed her path. She gave generously and took delight in helping others. Mabel had many dear long-time friends and neighbors and was always making new friends with her winsome spirit. She remained young at heart and related to people of all ages. Mabel loved the Lord and lived out her faith. Her church family at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, Vestal, was very important to her, and she especially enjoyed her Wednesday night Bible study group. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 729 Main Street, Vestal, on Saturday, March 30th at 11 AM with the Pastor Rob Hammaker and Pastor David Parsons officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
