So sorry for your family's loss. I knew Ritchie from the time the Stevens family moved to Warwick. His older brother is my best friend forever. My older brother is married to Sandy.
I live in Florida and his passing is deeply felt by many of his friends that live here now.
Again, so sorry for your loss. He will be missed forever.
We will all meet again and see his fantastic smile at the gates of Heaven welcoming us home!!

I haven’t seen Rich in 30+ years, but was sadden hearing the news of his passing. I spent countless hours with his brother Bobby, or “Chico” as we all called him, at Granny’s in Bainbridge. He was such a great spirit then, and treated all of us teenagers like we were his brothers too. He was a kind and generous person then, and I’m sure always. My deepest condolences to all his loved ones.

Cheech (as Richie was known when I knew him as a teen) was the sweetest guy ever... when he had his pizza joint in Bainbridge, it was THE PLACE to hang out and he always made all who came in feel welcomed, families & kids alike... I will miss you Rich, go with God brother... Aloha.

Fortunately all lives don't start and stop at the last 20 or so years of life that would be an adventure mostly recognized mainly by the most recent, God bless them.
The previous adventures accounting for the first 40 + years are not only stepping stones to our last opportunity for expressing our perverse love and admiration for Richard. These are the adventures that are embedded into his and our souls the nucleus of our hearts. Their isn't any one adventure or time in life that can erase the deepest feelings of love and memories that are shared with family and friends new and old of our dearest brother Richard.
Regardless of how our final farewells are orchestrated, their is no single person that can change the majority of his memories that he takes to present to our lord,I know for a fact their is only good and best in his presence on earth for our lord to judge him by
Richard had always protected me and will continue to from heaven above
Rest In Peace my brother

Oh the stories I could tell! Rich Stevens! Proud to say he was my friend. Richie was the complete package. Brains, good looks, ability, athlete, demeanor, you name it, Rich had it in spades. Girls loved him and men looked up to him. He made everything look easy. From, HS football to Basketball in the park to Senior League baseball on the Mets to working weekends at Masker's Orchards, Rich provide me with many great memories growing up in Warwick NY. Richards untimely passing gives me pause for fond reflections of a man I totally respected and admired. If he had a temper, I never saw it. If he had an enemy, I never knew it. A smooth operator indeed. God bless Rich. Sincere condolences to the entire family and Tom, Mike and Roberta. Peace to you all.

So sorry to hear of Richie’s passing. The last time I saw him was at Richie’s. I had come in for an order and saw he was sitting at a table with a few other people. I walked over behind him and just placed my hand on his shoulder. He looked up and grinned from ear to ear. Looked at me and said hey pal, where have you been? as if I were the one that hadn’t been around. I broke out in a big smile and said I’ve been here, you haven’t. We both laughed. Going to miss him, but the angels in heaven will be eating well from now on.

I am so very sorry to hear of Rich’s passing. He was truly one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Always had a smile on his face and up for a chat when I would drop my daughter, Hannah, off to play with Kiana when they were smaller. Sending my prayers to Andrea and the kids. ❤️
