Obituary of Rosie Jane Conner

Rosie J. Conner, 102, of Endicott, NY passed away peacefully at Guthrie Cortland Nursing Home on September 30, 2024.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul Conner Sr, son Paul Conner Jr, parents Samuel and Lullabelle Bechtol; siblings Vera Drosdeck, Samuel (Marian) Bechtol Jr., Julia (Roy) Mayes, Daniel (Mary Lou) Bechtol, and Margaret Bechtol (infant).

Rosie (Jane) is survived by her daughter Rose (Harold) Fries, son Roy (Karen) Rizzo, grandchildren, Debra (Steve) Baker, Robert (Karen) Fries, Christine Bailey, Brian (Leigh) Rizzo, Brian (Stephanie) Conner; great grandchildren Michael (Melinda) Fries, Maura Baker, and great, great grandchildren (Owen, Ewan, Ethan, Ayden, Michayla, Emmalee, Joseph and Daniel) and many nieces and nephews.

She had many factory jobs over the years but her most recent and most loved job was working as Senior Companion with the Broome Developmental Center. She loved helping the handicapped clients.

Rosie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Union Center, NY. 

Rosie enjoyed flowers, watching birds at her feeders, crocheting, music (mostly country western and gospel), and playing the organ.

Graveside Services will be held at Cedar Hills Cemetery, 64 Spinner Lane, Mill Hall, PA on October 8 at 1:00.
