Obituary of Teresa Slick

Teresa Ann (Wheeland) Slick, 40, of Vestal, went to be with the lord on Monday, November 8, 2010, after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. She was predeacesed by her grandparents, Kay and Emersen Wheeland; and great-grandmother, Angelina Scordino. She is survived by her two daughters, Tara and Tia Slick; her mother and stepfather, Linda and Bob Hunt; father, Dick Wheeland and Cindy Sharpe; grandparents, Bob and Elva Hunt, James and Lila Scordino; brother, Jimmy Wheeland; sister and brother-in-law, Gina and Terry Zacharias; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Thomas Wyskowski; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Regina Hunt; special friend, Robert Barry; and former husband, Daniel Slick; very special nephews, Jimmy and TJ Zacharias and Mason Hunt; very special niece, Tianna Wyskowski; and many friends aunts, uncles and cousins. Teresa loved anything that was the color pink. She loved pigs, and had a large collection of them gathered through the years. She enjoyed talking on the phone and visiting with friends and family. She especially loved listening to her music. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Ideal Senior Living Center for their care and support of Teresa. A funeral mass will be offered Friday at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, 300 East Main St., Endicott, Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Teresa's memory to the National M.S. Society to help others in the fight against this disease. Teresa was a wonderful daughter, mother, granddaughter and sister, aunt, niece and cousin and friend who will forever be missed.
